Comedian Charlie Berens will perform at the Charleston Gaillard Center on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at 7 p.m. Tickets go on sale on Friday, Sept. 19 at 10 a.m., online only. Ticket Office opens at 11 a.m.
Berens is a comedian, New York Times best-selling author, Emmy-winning journalist, musician and creator of the viral sensation The Manitowoc Minute, a comedic news show about the Midwest that launched him into notoriety in 2017. Since then, he has built a worldwide social media following of more than 10 million through Midwest-inspired sketch comedy videos.
His success led to The Midwest Survival Guide being optioned for TV development and three sold-out nationwide stand-up comedy tours. His most recent tour, the Good Old Fashioned Tour, spanned 127 shows in 88 cities and was filmed as a follow-up special to his 2023 debut, Midwest Goodbye.
Berens also hosts the Cripescast podcast, featuring conversations with guests ranging from comedians and musicians to Olympians and scientists. He co-hosts the Bellied Up podcast with “Myles the You Betcha Guy,” where the two take live calls from listeners while recording at small-town bars.
In addition to comedy, Berens has released two Billboard-charting albums with Adam Greuel of Horseshoes & Hand Grenades: Unthawed (2020) and Dive Bar Dinner (2023). He has also been featured in a nationwide Target campaign, served as ambassador for Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin’s Annual Food for the Holidays campaign and recently launched Berens Old Fashioned Brandy, now available in stores across Wisconsin.
