The College of Charleston hold a special screening of the documentary Got Myself a Yard on November 16, 2024.
This new feature-length documentary explores the life of College of Charleston alumnus and South Carolina State Representative Jermaine Johnson (’08), tracing his journey from basketball to political power. The film will be introduced by Michael Lee, the director of CofC’s Civility Initiative. Following the screening, Lee will moderate a Q&A session with Representative Johnson and the film’s director, Adam Bailey.
The screening will occur in Room 101 of the Rita Liddy Hollings Science Center, starting at 1:00 p.m.
Tickets are priced at $25 and must be purchased in advance. Proceeds will benefit the Alumni Association’s programs and services for the College.
