The City of Charleston has extended the application deadline for the 2025 Holiday Parade of Boats to 4:00 p.m. on Dec. 7, giving boaters extra time to sign up and take part in one of the Lowcountry’s most cherished holiday traditions.
The application deadline is Dec. 7, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. Interested parties can apply here.
The parade will take place on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025, beginning at 6 p.m. The parade will travel from the Cooper River, through the Charleston Harbor, and into the Ashley River. Attendees can view the procession along Charleston’s waterfront at The Battery or in Mt. Pleasant at Patriots Point. Residents and visitors are invited to line the waterfront and enjoy the festive procession as brightly lit boats illuminate Charleston Harbor.
