Cirque Anouchka Bouglione presents Cirque de Paris, which will make its debut in Charleston under the Big Top at Citadel Mall from April 2-12. The brand-new show aims to captivate audiences with its French flair and rich family history.
The production features an ensemble of Europe’s top circus artists. Attendees of the 90-minute circus spectacular will see a showcase of standout performers across a variety of acts. This year’s lineup includes the Supka Family juggling troupe, two traditional circus clowns to keep the crowd laughing and Anouchka’s two children, Noah and Alyana, making their season debut.

Cirque Anouchka Bouglione presents Cirque de Paris hailing from the circus-rich traditions of France, is known for their illustrious circus legacy. In 1934, Anouchka Bouglione’s great-grandfather, Joseph Bouglione, along with his brothers Alexandre, Sampion, and Firmin – collectively known as the “Four Brothers Bouglione” – became the proud owners of the iconic Cirque D’Hiver in Paris. The family’s fame skyrocketed when, in 1955, Hollywood chose their venue to film the classic movie “Trapeze” starring Tony Curtis, Gina Lollobrigida, and Burt Lancaster. Anouchka continues her family's legacy as the producer and director of Cirque de Paris performing now in towns across the country.
