NBA Hall of Famer Chris Bosh has been spotted around Charleston this week. The two-time champion appears to have been celebrating his birthday (March 24) in the Holy City.
Multiple Charleston food and beverage establishments and employees shared photos of Bosh on social media. Downtown bar The Brick posted a photo of him Sunday, while Daniel Heinze, chef and co-owner of Vern's, shared a picture with the athlete on Tuesday.
Bosh’s birthday week visit comes just a few weeks after actress Brittany Snow celebrated her 40th in Charleston.
Bosh was selected fourth overall in the 2003 NBA Draft by the Toronto Raptors, where he became a perennial All-Star and the face of the franchise. He later joined the Miami Heat in 2010 alongside LeBron James and Dwyane Wade, helping lead the team to back-to-back NBA championships in 2012 and 2013.
An 11-time NBA All-Star, Bosh’s career was cut short due to blood clot issues, and he retired in 2019. He was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2021.
