Charleston Stage, South Carolina’s largest professional theatre company, proudly announces its 2025-2026 Board of Trustees and newly appointed Executive Committee. These community leaders bring an extraordinary range of expertise in the arts, education, business, and philanthropy—and will help guide the theatre’s continued growth, impact, and success during its 48th season.
Leading the Board for the 2025–2026 season is Valerie Morris, who serves as President of the Board of Trustees and has decades of leadership experience as former dean of the College of Charleston School of the Arts for 22 years.
Joining Morris as Officers on the Executive Committee are Victor C. Young, First Vice President and Chair of Governance; Sally Davis, Second Vice President and Chair of Fundraising; Dr. Crystal Y. Campbell, Secretary; and Madison Altman, Treasurer.
“We’re incredibly fortunate to have such a thoughtful and committed group of individuals guiding Charleston Stage during this exciting moment in our history,” said Tim Rogers, Managing Director. “Their leadership and stewardship will play a vital role in shaping Season 48 and setting the stage for our 50th anniversary and beyond.”
Charleston Stage’s 2025-2026 Board of Trustees includes Madison Altman, Lynne Bowis, Dr. Crystal Y. Campbell, Courtney Champion, Sally Davis, Giles Fernald, Dr. Edward I. Galaid, Katherine Schob Glenn, Melinda Goins-Fernald, Enrique Grace, Danielle Hartley, Wendy Kane, Audrey Lane, Cuthbert Langley, Jennifer McCarty, Sonia Marshall-Brown, Henry Clay Middleton, Valerie Morris, Mosmi Naik-Patel, Letty Richey, Linda Schutte, Teresa Smith, Ann Wolf, and Victor C. Young.
Charleston Stage’s 48th season launches on September 3, 2025, and features a thrilling lineup of mainstage productions at the historic Dock Street Theatre in downtown Charleston, including: The Sound of Music, Dial M for Murder, A Christmas Carol, Sense and Sensibility, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Come From Away. The season will also include a Family Series and expanded education outreach programs serving thousands of Lowcountry students and families.
