The Charleston Friends of the Library’s (CFOL) Fall Book Sale will take place next month at Baxter-Patrick James Island Library (1858 S Grimbal Rd.).
Here's a look at the schedule:
- Thursday, October 10th (Member’s Night) - 4 pm to 7 pm
- Friday, October 11th - 9.30 am to 5 pm
- Saturday, October 12th - 9.30 am to 3:30 pm
The Fall Sale at Main Library will have books available with prices starting at $1 for paperbacks and $4 for hardback books. Items include mysteries, romances, classics, children’s books, local histories, cookbooks, and a variety of non-fiction topics.
“Proceeds from our books sales empower learning and literacy by providing funding to the variety of programs offered across the 18 branches of the library," said Leah Donaldson, CFOL's Executive Director. "We are proud to support the many After School programs offered to students throughout Charleston County. We are truly grateful to all our FRIENDS for supporting our book sales and our library!”
The CFOL is a non-profit organization that raises money through book sales to support programming across the 18 branches of the Charleston County Library that provide access and opportunity to all of our neighbors at no cost to participants.
