Charleston Collegiate School will bring families, friends, neighbors and visitors together for its 12th annual Fall Festival and Run Like the Devil 5K and Fun Run on Saturday, Oct. 17, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Kiawah River. The Fall Festival is free and open to the public, while registration is required for those participating in the 5K and Fun Run.
Set against the backdrop of Kiawah River’s picturesque Lowcountry landscape, the family-friendly festival will feature local makers and artisans, food and beverages from Charleston favorites, live music, classic fall games and activities, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. Pets are welcome and must be leashed at all times.
“Charleston Collegiate is proud to host an event that brings our school community together while also welcoming our neighbors from across the Charleston area,” says Lori Atkinson, Head of Development at Charleston Collegiate. “The Fall Festival is a chance to enjoy all the things that make this community special, from local businesses and live music to the beautiful Lowcountry setting at Kiawah River. We look forward to welcoming everyone for a fun fall day.”
The festival will also feature Charleston Collegiate’s annual Run Like the Devil 5K Trail Run and Fun Run. Race check-in opens at 9 a.m., with the 5K beginning at 10 a.m. and the Fun Run beginning at noon. All race proceeds support Charleston Collegiate School’s Annual Fund, which helps provide resources and opportunities for students throughout the school year.
