The Charleston Animal Society will host its annual Gala, “Mission Pawsible,” on October 12, 2024, at the Charleston Gaillard Center.
This year’s event is not only an evening of celebration and fundraising, but also a milestone event marking the 150th anniversary of Charleston Animal Society’s commitment to preventing cruelty to animals.
With a theme inspired by the action-packed Mission Impossible franchise, “Mission Pawsible” aims to deliver a night of intrigue, adventure, and heroic feats, all in the name of saving lives.
The Gaillard Center will transform into a secret headquarters for one night only, complete with a sophisticated and mysterious atmosphere reminiscent of your favorite espionage films. Attendees will be treated to a spectacular evening featuring dinner, live entertainment, and an auction, all while supporting a cause that is close to the hearts of residents of the greater Charleston area.
“Every year, our gala is a chance to make a significant impact, but this year is particularly special as we celebrate our 150th anniversary,” said Charleston Animal Society outgoing Board Chair Laurel Greer. “Our mission is more than just a pledge; it’s a promise to every animal in Charleston County and many more that they will receive the care and love they deserve. ‘Mission Pawsible’ is about rallying our community to complete this critical mission.”
In true “Mission Impossible” fashion, attendees are encouraged to embrace their inner secret agent with creative attire that fits the evening’s theme.
"Don’t miss out on this unforgettable mission. It’s going to be a night to remember," said Gala Chair Cara Bibbiani. "Because with your help, we can make the impossible, 'pawsible.'"
