The Junior and Teen Performance Companies with Charleston Academy of Musical Theatre are presenting two performances this weekend that will appeal to audience members of all ages: James and the Giant Peach Jr. and Beauty and the Beast Jr.
James and the Giant Peach Jr., which will be performed by the Junior Performance Company, will take place at Sottile Theatre (44 George Street) on Saturday, January 18th and Sunday, January 19th at 2 pm.
Beauty and the Beast Jr., which will be performed by the Teen Performance Company, will also take place at Sottile Theatre on Saturday, January 18th at 7 pm and Sunday, January 19th at 6 pm.
"Ranging in ages 8 to 18, our actors have been working hard on these performances since August," said Courtney Sarre, Artistic Director for CAMT. " From original choreography, professional backdrops and custom costumes designed to compliment our actors, we cannot wait to share these amazing productions with the community."
