Berkeley County Library System announces the arrival of a new limited-edition library card design featuring Snoopy, the world-famous beagle, who has been known as The Flying Ace, The Masked Marvel, and Man's Best Friend. His image will be added to "Camp Snoopy READ Library Card" in celebration of Library Card Sign-up Month and National Library Week.
"Camp Snoopy READ Library Cards" are free for Berkeley County residents and will be available at all BCLS Library branches and the Mobile Library, September 3-30, 2024 (While supplies last; availability dates are subject to change).
In addition to spotlighting the beloved character, the card features an easy-to-read, enlarged-font bar code number on the opposite side with the BCLS main library contact information and website as well as the names of each library branch.
"Library users are encouraged to sign-up for a 'Camp Snoopy READ Library Card' in recognition of National Library Week," Gene Brunson, Library Director, said.
