Brookgreen Gardens has added two additional evenings to the final week of its seasonal event, Summer Light: Art by Night—Thursday, Aug. 28, and Friday, Aug. 29. Traditionally held on Wednesday and Saturday nights from June through August, the last week of the event will now span four evenings, Wednesday through Saturday, Aug. 27–30.

The event illuminates Brookgreen’s landscapes and large-scale sculptures with thousands of bulbs and dazzling light displays created by the same team behind the iconic Nights of a Thousand Candles winter series. This year’s program is enhanced by Gardens of Glass: The Art of Craig Mitchell Smith, an exhibition of 30 large-scale glass sculptures that glow as evening falls.
Guests can also enjoy live music, a variety of dining and beverage options, and shopping at Keepsakes, Brookgreen’s onsite store.
