Set on the scenic grounds of the South Carolina Waterfowl Association in Pinewood, BirdFest returns May 1–2 for its 19th year, bringing together nationally recognized bluegrass artists and music lovers for a weekend rooted in Southern tradition.
Located between Charleston and Columbia, the two-day outdoor festival combines live music, local brews, food trucks and community in a picturesque outdoor setting. What started as a small gathering on a former quail farm has grown into a beloved regional tradition — named after “Bird,” a beloved mule who once lived on the property.
