Berkeley County Library System (BCLS) Summer Reading Program 2025: Color Our World invites preschool age to adult to participate in Summer Reading and win prizes! Interested customers may pre-register at Summer Reading. Additional dates include:
- Summer Reading begins June 2
- Prizes can be redeemed beginning June 9;
- Summer Reading ends August 2;
- Prizes must be redeemed by August 9.
Visit Summer Reading for details and reading logs. e-books, e-magazines, e-audiobooks, and Children's Audio-Enabled books, VOX and Wonderbooks, are also welcomed and encouraged for reading.
Register for BCLS Summer Reading 2025: Color Our World , where early literacy, children, teens, and adult customers can participate June 2 – August 2. In addition, customers of all ages can earn prizes to be redeemed at any BCLS library from June 9 – August 9. Also, Summer Reading features a lineup of performers including Tim Sonefelt: Pigments of Your Imagination: Color Our World and Miss September & Friends: A Canvas of Colors, Indigo's Mixed-Up Emotional Rainbow of Feelings!

A ticket is required for each show performance and will be available one week before the performance date.
BCLS Summer Reading Program 2025: Color Our World, also includes Give Our Books New Looks Art Contest for third-fifth grade students to design a cover or draw a scene from a favorite book at Rules and Template and be entered to win a prize! Deadline to submit all artwork is August 30. One entry per person.
