Berkeley County Library System (BCLS) will co-host Butterflies & Moths of South Carolina with John Ringness, Clemson University Cooperative Extension Master Gardener and Green Thumb Instructor from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the following locations:
- Tuesday, May 20 at Moncks Corner Library, located at 1003 Highway 52, Moncks Corner;
- Wednesday, May 21 at Goose Creek Library, located at 325 Old Moncks Corner Road, Goose Creek.
Master Gardener and Green Thumb Instructor, John Ringness, will discuss the wide variety of 165 different species in our region using slides of trees, plants, butterflies, moths and caterpillars. Customers are encouraged to take a picture of a slide, if desired, and ask questions during the presentation.
"Customers from each library are invited to attend this presentation and learn more about our butterflies and moths in South Carolina," said John Ringness, Master Gardener and Green Thumb Instructor.
