Berkeley County Library System (BCLS), will be adding two additional sessions of "Cooking with Chef Rebecca," a series of interactive cooking classes with the below schedule:
Registration is required for each class. Please visit berkeleylibrarysc.libcal.com/ and click on event of the participating branch. Registration opened December 11, 2024 for St. Stephen Library and will open on December 28, 2024 for Moncks Corner Library.
"Cooking with Chef Rebecca" interactive classes will provide customers of all ages FREE learning opportunities to acquire basic cooking skills and interact with community members sharing common food interests.
Salsa: Kids of ages will learn to make fresh salsa, both sweet and spicy.
Soup & Scones: Learn how to create homemade soups, the perfect comfort food for chilly winter days, and savory scones to enjoy on the side.
"I am very excited for this opportunity to work with the Berkeley County Library System and its customers," said Chef Rebecca Antil. "As anticipated, the library programs are a big hit and are bringing people together to share food traditions and knowledge, while learning new skills."
