J19 Week, returns for its 5th Annual Lowcountry Juneteenth Week Festival, running from June 16–23, 2025, with early celebratory events starting June 7. The multi-day festival honors the spirit of Juneteenth with a lineup of music, history, culture, family fun, and community empowerment across the Lowcountry.
J19 Week commemorates Juneteenth, the historic day marking the end of slavery in the United States, while uplifting Black culture and contributions with events designed to inspire, educate, and entertain all ages.
2025 Festival Lineup Includes:
- June 7 – Madd Love Kids Fest - North Charleston Sports Complex - A day of fun, creativity, and empowerment for the next generation.
- June 17 – LJW Luncheon Honoring Dr. Thaddeus J. Bell - Middleton Place Foundation Pavilion Celebrating a living legacy with an up close and personal conversation.
- June 19 (Juneteenth) – Jazz Under the Stars - The Admiral House, North Charleston - A soulful evening of smooth jazz featuring Marcus Johnson, Reggie Graves & Jazz Theory.
- June 20 – J19 Week Line Dance Block Party - Building 64, Naval Base, North Charleston - Celebrate with boots on the ground and fans in the air for an unforgettable night.
- June 21 – Family Reunion & Cookout - Hanahan Amphitheater, Hanahan, SC - Games, good food, music, and laughter as families from across the Lowcountry come together.
- June 22 – Juneteenth Parade - Felix Pinckney Community Center, North Charleston, SC - A celebration full of pride and culture marching through the historic Liberty Hill community!
