Thank God the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office once again apprehended individuals allegedly involved in a recent crime, preventing further harm.
The arrests occurred Thursday, May 7, after authorities in the Cane Bay area apprehended three young people allegedly connected to a shooting at Publix in which three people were injured.
A seventeen-year-old and two 16-year-old juveniles are facing charges in connection with the incident. Authorities said the three suspects fled toward the rear of Cane Bay near Black Tom Road. According to reports, one of the suspects ordered an Uber, which helped lead sheriff’s deputies and K-9 units to their location.
Green was charged with three counts of attempted murder and weapons possession and is being held at the Hill-Finklea Detention Center.
The swift response by first responders and assisting agencies led to the suspects’ capture and helped ensure public safety.
