The Charleston County Public Library (CCPL) is inviting residents across Charleston County to share their feedback through the 2025 CCPL Community Survey, now available online at ccpl.org/survey and in print at all 18 library locations.
The survey, conducted in partnership with the Riley Center for Livable Communities at the College of Charleston, is designed to gather input from community members about their library experiences, needs, and interests. Responses will help CCPL plan future programs, services, and collections that best serve the diverse needs of Charleston County residents.
“Our goal is to ensure that every decision we make reflects the voices of the people we serve,” said Angela Craig, CCPL Executive Director. “By participating in this survey, residents have the opportunity to help shape how the library evolves to meet the changing needs of our community.”
The survey takes just a few minutes to complete. All responses are confidential and will be used for general reporting purposes only. Respondents will be asked about how they use the library, what programs and resources are most valuable to them, and what barriers may prevent them from using library services.
Residents can complete the survey in two ways:
- Online – Visit ccpl.org/survey
- In Person - Pick up and submit a paper copy at any of CCPL’s 18 branch locations. Visit ccpl.org/branches for a full list of locations and operating hours.
“This is an exciting opportunity for us to listen and learn directly from our community,” said Craig. “The information collected will help identify ways we can expand access, improve services, and enhance the overall library experience.”
For more information or assistance with completing the survey, contact your local library branch or email Shelby Shumard at the Riley Center at shumards@cofc.edu.
