Uptown Hospitality Group’s Bodega will host its third annual “Best in Bread” sandwich competition, where nine local restaurants will compete to create the best sandwich in Charleston.
Throughout the month of April, each weekly round will feature three participating chefs crafting signature sandwiches. Attendees will sample each bite and vote to determine the finalist for each round, culminating in a grand finale showdown on April 28.
The South’s best condiment, Duke’s Mayo, is Bodega’s premier partner, with chefs incorporating its products into their sandwich creations.
“Best in Bread” T-shirts will be available for purchase on-site, with proceeds supporting East Cooper Community Outreach.
