QuoteWizard, an insurance comparison platform, released a report on the states with the best and worst road infrastructure and they ranked South Carolina as being the 10th best.
To determine their rankings, the website used detailed information on the number of roads and bridges in poor condition and just how much that is costing drivers.
Key Findings for South Carolina:
- 8% of roads are in non-acceptable condition
- 4% of bridges are in poor condition
- Aging roadways cost drivers $564 per year
