Watch: Darius Rucker Singing with Local Band at The Commodore
Country musician, lead singer of Hootie & the Blowfish, and Charleston native Darius Rucker was recently filmed singing with a local band at The Commodore, a downtown bar and lounge.
The video clip (see below) features the musician singing Prince’s “Purple Rain” with local band, Tommy & The Chucktown Players. Rucker joined the band for the tune this past Friday, the day before Rucker’s 57th birthday.
The Commodore is located at 504 Meeting Street, Suite C, which is the former home of the Touch Of Class jazz club.
