Country musician, lead singer of Hootie & the Blowfish, and Charleston native Darius Rucker was recently filmed singing with a local band at The Commodore, a downtown bar and lounge.
The video clip (see below) features the musician singing Prince’s “Purple Rain” with local band, Tommy & The Chucktown Players. Rucker joined the band for the tune this past Friday, the day before Rucker’s 57th birthday.
The Commodore is located at 504 Meeting Street, Suite C , which is the former home of the Touch Of Class jazz club.
