The Rooftop at The Vendue invites the community to what they are calling an “unforgettable weekend of intergalactic excitement, festive fiestas, and thrilling races.” From May 4th through the 6th, the rooftop destination will host “Cinco-3PO de Derby Days: A Rooftop Trilogy.”
The festivities begin on Thursday, May 4th, with their “May the 4th Be With You” celebration. Unleash your inner Jedi and compete in Star Wars trivia from 6 pm to 8 pm for a chance to win up to $100 in bar credit. The bar will be offering specially-crafted “cosmic cocktails” while you pose for fun snaps at the Star Wars-themed photo booth. Attendees are also encouraged to dress in their Star Wars best as the top costume or attire wins a $100 bar tab. The party continues on Friday, May 5th, with a Cinco de Mayo fiesta. Guests can enjoy a churro-themed cocktail or indulge in margaritas and tequila shots. The party will also include a themed photo booth. Plus, the bar will be serving a Mint Julep Margarita that combines the iconic flavors of Cinco de Mayo and the Kentucky Derby. Finally, on Saturday, May 6th, it’s time to don your finest hats and watch the Kentucky Derby live on the big screen. Compete in the Derby Hat Contest for a $100 bar tab and Instagram, and sip on Mint Juleps throughout the day.
