Volvo Cars will Host “The Volvo Experience,” An Immersive Career Fair

Volvo Cars will host “The Volvo Experience,” an immersive career fair at the Orangeburg County Conference Center on Wednesday, April 5th, from 11 am to 6 pm. Participants are invited to join the company for a Swedish Fika where they will share coffee, conversation, and prospective employees will have an opportunity to learn about the company through video and sound.

According to Volvo Cars, interested candidates must:

• Be 18 years old and have a HS diploma or GED
• Successfully complete background, drug screen and physical
• Successfully complete 1 day of unpaid pre-hire training
• Be willing to work any shift

The Volvo Cars facility in Ridgeville, SC will hire about 1,300 team members starting in June, to prepare for the launch of the EX90, a fully electric SUV. They are hiring to fill team member roles in manufacturing and operations.

The Orangeburg County Conference Center is located at 1643 Russell Street in Orangeburg.
