Makeready, a hospitality company, on Monday announced the appointment of Robert Morgan as its new General Manager of Hotel Operations at Emeline. With nearly two decades of experience in luxury hospitality management and Charleston market experience, Emeline says Morgan brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the property.
In his new role, Morgan will oversee all operations of the hotel, including hotel staff, budget and guest satisfaction.

Prior to joining Emeline, Morgan served as general manager of Destin, FL's only luxury resort, The Henderson Beach Resort. He oversaw all operational and financial aspects of the 170-room property and its many amenities. Morgan's expertise in the hospitality industry extends to his previous experience in Charleston, where he served at the Renaissance Charleston Historic District Hotel as general manager for over two years and held leadership roles in both operations and food and beverage for Marriott for an additional 14 years.
