With construction well under way and key management in place, Leffew Restaurant Group partners announced they are looking to hire staff for the new Lucky Beach Bar + Kitchen, 14 Folly Field Road, ahead of the restaurant's grand opening, anticipated in late May. Lucky Beach Bar + Kitchen will be an upbeat, family-friendly dining experience with the same commitment to quality food and service that guests enjoy at Lucky Rooster Kitchen + Bar, also owned by the Leffew Restaurant Group and led by Hilton Head residents David and Carrie Leffew.
“We are so excited to be nearing the opening of Lucky Beach Bar + Kitchen,” said managing partner David Leffew. The restaurant is looking to hire all positions, he said, including managers, kitchen staff, servers, bartenders, hosts and more. Training for new staff will begin several weeks before the restaurant's grand opening.
The experience-driven restaurant will offer modern takes on American classics with Southern and Caribbean inspiration, a creative and refreshing beverage menu, seating for more than 250 guests, welcoming indoor and outdoor dining areas, an exciting bar and space for live music, a dedicated to-go pick up window and bicycle parking connected to the town bike paths.
An all-day menu will run through lunch and dinner, with plans to keep the kitchen open later than most locations on Hilton Head. The beverage menu will highlight tropical, bright, refreshing cocktails along with ice-cold beers, a curated wine menu and fun signature drinks. The take-out window will be open from breakfast to late night and offer great coffee and espresso drinks, creative grab-and-go food options and soft serve ice cream. Coupled with an online ordering system, the take-out window will make picking up meals easy for those who want to take food to the beach or back home.
