Website: South Carolina Among The “Least Cultural States”
It found that their home state, Florida, is the least cultural state in the country. The state is home to 1,534 sights and landmarks, 1,175 museums, and 614 art galleries – meaning that out of the 25,908 attractions in the state, only 12.83% were considered cultural, the lowest percentage of any US state.
Nevada was second on the list, with only 14.73% of all 3,884 attractions in the state being cultural. Coming in third place is the state of Alaska.
