Moonlight Ale Announces Annual “Ale Trail” St. Patrick’s Day Shows
Featuring Jimmy McElligot (guitar/vocals), Patrick Brown (percussion), Chuck Hamilton (bass/vocals), Sinead Farrelly (tin whistle/accordion), and George Stevens (mandolin/vocals), Moonlight Ale’s sets are packed with upbeat anthems, pint-swaying ballads, and Irish trad tunes that make for a memorable St. Paddy’s Day experience.
Last year, the band released the single “Banned for Life,” which the Charleston City Paper called “damned catchy … traditional Irish folk (blended) with Americana and just a bit of ragged punk intensity.”
Here’s a look at their holiday run:
- March 17th: Bailey’s Irish Pub – Mt. Pleasant
- March 17th: Commonhouse Aleworks – Park Circle
- March 18th: Bailey’s Irish Pub (formerly McCanns) – Mt. Pleasant
- March 18th: Seanachai Whiskey and Cocktail Bar – John’s Island
