Mex 1’s Annual Rail Jam Returns on January 14th

The Mex 1 Coastal Cantina in West Ashley will host their Annual Rail Jam on Saturday, January 14th, 2023, from 5 pm to 11 pm. The popular event will feature flips and tricks from regional and national amateur snowboarders showcasing their skills as they catch air on a 20-foot custom ramp and rail made with 40,000 lbs of snow.

The Rail Jam will also commemorates Mex 1’s 10th anniversary at this flagship location (817 St Andrews Blvd.). In addition to the showboarders, guests can expect live music from the Strawberry Squad, visual effects and a laser show from Big Hair Productions, multiple outdoor bars, and food. Carolina Rides and Charleston Hemp Collective will be on-site as well.

Rail Jam will begin at 5 pm with the snowboarders starting at dusk. Tickets are available for purchase prior to the event here ($18) or at the door the night of ($25). Children ages 12 and under will receive free entry.

Mex 1 West Ashley is located at 817 St. Andrews Blvd. in Charleston.
