Ralph H. Johnson VA Health Care System Hosting PACT Act Informational Event for Veterans

On Thursday, December 15th, the Ralph H. Johnson VA Health Care System is hosting a PACT Act Informational event for Veterans. Eligibility, enrollment and benefits claims specialists will be on-site for the event, which runs from noon until 4 pm. Burn pit and toxic exposure screenings will also be provided to eligible Veterans.

Specific information about the PACT Act and its impact on Veterans will be briefed at 12 pm and can also be found on the VA’s PACT Act information website. The PACT Act was signed into law on August 10th, 2022 and expands VA health care and benefits for Veterans exposed to burn pits, Agent Orange, and other toxic substances.

The informational event will be held at the North Charleston VA Outpatient Clinic, 6450 Rivers Ave., North Charleston.
