Charleston magician Howard Blackwell will appear on the new History Channel series Pawn Stars Do America on Wednesday, December 14th at 8 pm. The show is a spin-off of the popular Pawn Stars series. Blackwell’s appearance comes just a month after he was featured on Penn & Teller: Fool Us.
For the first time, the “Pawn Stars” are hitting the road to visit some of America's most exciting places in search of historical finds and impressive collectible objects in the new 8-part series Pawn Stars Do America. Each two-hour episode follows Rick Harrison, Corey Harrison, and Austin “Chumlee” Russell as they step out of the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas to connect with fans in eight different cities.
Blackwell, the owner and resident performer at Holy City Magic, the intimate theater located at 49 1/2 John Street, will be displaying his Houdini memorabilia as well as recreating one of Houdini's dangerous illusions.
Here in Charleston, Blackwell performs most Friday and Saturday nights at Holy City Magic. You can learn more at holycitymagic.com.
