Firefly Distillery is celebrating its bestselling Bend & Steal American Whiskey during a Black Friday event, from 12 pm to 6 pm, on Friday, November 25th. The event will debut a new, elevated label for Bend & Steal, and will feature drink specials and discounts on Bend & Steal holiday gift sets and merchandise.
“Bend & Steal's new artisan label pays homage to the craft nature of American blended whiskey,” said Scott Newitt, co-founder at Firefly Distillery. “It has quickly become one of our top-selling spirits at the distillery, and we're excited to invite the community out to celebrate and taste it for themselves.”
The Black Friday event will feature one-day-only discounts on Bend & Steal holiday gift sets, specialty engraved boxes, and merchandise.
From the tasting room, Firefly will introduce a new cocktail called Thor's Hammer, mixing the Bend & Steal blended whiskey with Firefly's White Lightning Moonshine and Atomic Fly cinnamon syrup.
Local food trucks Mr. B's On The Go, Bits-N-Bytes, and Bits-N-Bites Bakery will be onsite serving food from 12 pm to 4 pm, and visitors can enjoy live music from Gritty Flyright on the Front Porch from 1 pm to 4 pm. Walk up tastings will be available every half hour from 12 pm to 5:30 pm.
Bend & Steal gets its name from the process of “stealing” bits from the best barrels in the country and “bending” them with Firefly barrels to create a “perfectly-balanced whiskey.” Each design element of the new bottle label highlights the process and tools that bring this spirit to life. Firefly Distillery is located at 4201 Spruill Avenue and is currently open Monday through Saturday, from 12 pm to 6 pm, offering tastings and cocktails with live music and food trucks on Saturdays.
