Charleston County Parks invites people with disabilities and their families, friends, and caregivers to a special holiday celebration! The Inclusive Holiday Hoedown will be held at North Charleston Wannamaker County Park on Thursday, December 8th, from 6 pm to 8 pm.
Santa and Mrs. Claus invite all to this country-style holiday event, which will take place within the park's Cypress Hall. Attendees are encouraged to dress in their favorite Western gear to welcome in the holiday season with a big “yee-haw!”
A DJ will be on site to keep the hoedown rocking, and refreshments will be served. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be present to help the attendees kick off the holidays in a very merry way.
Tickets are $4 in advance or $5 at the event. Chaperones are free of charge. Advance purchase is recommended and tickets can be purchased by calling 843-795-4386.
The Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission (CCPRC) is committed to creating and promoting inclusion for individuals of all abilities through Inclusive Recreation programs like the Holiday Hoedown.
