Charleston County registered voters can vote early for the November 8th, 2022 General Election from Monday, October 24th through Saturday, October 29th or from Monday October 31st to Saturday, November 5th.
Voters can cast a ballot at any of the following locations from 8:30 am until 6 pm during the early voting period:
Qualified eligible voters can also vote absentee. Voters can request absentee ballot applications via phone, mail, or in-person at the Board of Elections and Voter Registration (BEVR) office located at 4367 Headquarters Road, North Charleston, SC 29405. Absentee ballot applications must be returned by 5 pm on Friday, October 28th. BEVR must receive completed and signed ballots no later than 7 pm on Tuesday, November 8th to be counted. Voters can also drop off absentee ballots at the office, at any early voting location, or return them via mail. You can find qualifications for absentee voting at https://www.charlestoncounty.
