Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum will remain closed on Saturday, October 1st due to a power outage from Hurricane Ian. The museum will reopen when power is restored and it is safe to resume normal operations. “We hope to welcome visitors aboard on Sunday,” said Interim Executive Director Mac Burdette. “We appreciate the efforts of our local utility companies to restore power to the area as quickly as possible.” None of the museum's vessels or exhibits sustained significant damage. Patriots Point will notify the public through social media and on patriotspoint.org once power is restored.
