Post House, Old Village’s coastal tavern and inn at 101 Pitt Street, will welcome esteemed chef and New York Times bestselling author, Cheryl Day, for a special brunch on Saturday, October 1st. The event is being held in celebration of her new cookbook, Treasury of Southern Baking.
Day, the co-founder of Savannah's Back in the Day Bakery and a James Beard Award semifinalist for Outstanding Pastry Chef, will collaborate with Post House chef Nick Wilber to create a menu inspired by her book’s recipes and stories. She'll be on site to mingle with guests and sign books.
Guests can enjoy a four-course prix-fixe menu featuring confections highlighted in the book with brunch cocktails and other beverages available for purchase. The menu features:
