This month's Creative Mornings Charleston event will be held on Friday, August 19th at the Charleston Library Society (164 King St). The event begins at 8 am. This month's theme is “Critical” with speaker Stacy Willingham, New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of A Flicker in the Dark.
The event will also host local artist Anna Chen, who will be creating a watercolor collage piece live throughout the morning, and a short performance from local singer/songwriter Meredith Foster. Coffee and bites from Counter Culture and Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit will be provided, but guests are encouraged to bring their own mugs.
