Travel + Leisure today announced that Charleston had been awarded “Best City in the U.S.” for the tenth consecutive year. Rep. Nancy Mace (SC-1) has issued the following statement on the award:
“I am thrilled to see Charleston has once again been voted the ‘Top United States City’ according to Travel + Leisure. The Palmetto City brings in millions of visitors each year due to the rich, storied history of our historical city, its unique aesthetic and its unparalleled southern hospitality, which when combined, make Charleston the greatest city in our country, if not on this planet. I know many people, including myself, enjoy a stroll down the historic Charleston Battery, where you can soak in views of the Ravenel Bridge, Rainbow Row, and maybe catch a dolphin or two playing in the harbor.”
