North Charleston to Celebrates Independence Day with “Lowcountry’s Largest Fireworks Display”

The City of North Charleston will present its annual 4^th of July Festival at Riverfront Park on Independence Day from 5 pm to 10 pm. The Festival is presented free of charge to the public.  

The event will include:

• Music from North Charleston POPS! and DJ Natty Heavy
• 26 food trucks
• Vendors
  • You can see the list of food trucks and vendors here
• Fireworks (beginning at 9 pm)

Guests attending the Festival are invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets, as there is no seating provided.

Other Important information:

• No entry into the park until 5 pm
• All bags will be searched
• No grills allowed in the park during the festival
• No sparklers or outside fireworks allowed
• Parking is free
  • Enter the former Navy Base via McMillan or Virginia Avenues for parking
  • Walking, biking, carpooling, and ridesharing are encouraged
