Toast to Spoleto, The Local Palate's annual ode to the season, will be held on Thursday, June 2nd from 6:30 to 9:30 pm at a historic residence in downtown Charleston. The event is back after a two-year hiatus to toast the 46th season of Spoleto with a garden party sampling Umbrian wines, cocktails, and a taste of Italy.
This year’s featured chefs and purveyors include:
- Italian specialties by Anthony Marini of The Pass
- Dough Boyz Pizza
- Cirsea's Gelato
- Michael Gulotta of MoPho and Maypop Restaurants in New Orleans
- Charcuterie spreads from Avondale Wine & Cheese
- Oysters XO
The Spoleto Festival is a celebration of arts from all over the world coming together, and will be held from May 27th to June 12th.
