Rep. Nancy Mace today released the following statement about the REEMERGE-Energy 2nd Chance Pilot Program:
“South Carolina's REEMERGE-Energy Industry 2nd Chance pilot program is an important example of how we can help the formerly incarcerated, address recidivism, and find a partial solution to the labor shortage hurting small businesses.
It is important that the U.S. Department of Commerce continues to support this program as it is an excellent example of how private-public collaborations can expand career options and help solve the labor shortage crisis affecting communities in South Carolina.”
