On Friday, April 15th, Sydney van Bulck will file at the Charleston County Board of Elections to be placed on the ballot for the Charleston County School Board, District 7. She has been a teacher at Goodwin Elementary in North Charleston since 2010.
Van Bulck said she plans to leave teaching at the end of the school year and will run on a platform of putting students' needs first, transparency to the public, and providing a safe place for teachers to come with their concerns.
