On Sunday, February 27th, Pet Helpers will host a Community Pet Food Distribution Event at their shelter (1447 Folly Road) from 11 am to 1 pm.
The organization will distribute supplies until they are gone, so you’re encouraged to arrive early. Everyone will be served on a first come, first serve basis.
“Our Community Distribution Days are always special events because it allows us to see the direct impact Pet Helpers has within our community,” said Jordyn Ross, Shelter Manager.
Here's how the event will work:
- Pet Helpers will have dry/wet dog food, dry/wet cat food, and cat litter.
- Everyone must stay in their car
- A volunteer or staff member will record your information and bring the item to you
- You MUST have your ID
- Supplies are provided per household, while supplies last
- Food/supplies are available only for public owned animals, no rescue or shelters
- Items are not for resale
