US Senate Candidate Rep. Krystle Matthews Endorses ReZsaun Lewis for South Carolina House

State Representative Krystle Matthews (D-Berkeley) today announced that she is endorsing ReZsaun Lewis for South Carolina House District 97. The announcement comes just two days after House Minority Leader Todd Rutherford (D-Richland) also endorsed Lewis.

“ReZsaun has what it takes,” Matthews said. “I’ve seen him put in the work for his community day in and day out for years through his advocacy and activism. A former teacher and veteran, ReZsaun’s voice is needed in the General Assembly to make South Carolina a better place to live and work. I enthusiastically support his campaign to represent District 97 in the House.”

The special election for House District 97 will take place on May 17th. The district contains parts of Dorchester and Colleton Counties.
