Experienced Class Action and Mass Tort Attorney Paul Doolittle joins the Anastopoulo Law Firm. Doolittle is serving as the Chairman of the firm’s growing Class Action and Mass Action Division.  Anastopoulo Law Firm has been engaged with class actions and mass torts across the country; cases that included mass recall of baby foods with dangerous metals, sunscreens and deodorants containing benzene, refunding college students tuition during the COVID-19 outbreak, Robinhood Short Squeeze litigation, and more.

“Paul is an experienced, well rounded litigator that fits seamlessly into our culture of meticulous and zealous representation.  We are excited to have him aboard, and he has already demonstrated tremendous value to our clients.” said Roy T. Willey, IV.

Doolittle graduated from the University of South Carolina. Upon graduation he worked at Nelson, Mullins, Riley and Scarborough in Columbia getting an inside look at the practice of law.  Paul stayed in Columbia and picked USC Law for his legal education. Paul received the Pro Bono of the Year Award in 1993 and remains committed to pro bono efforts to this day. He was on the Dean’s Honor List and received the American Jurisprudence Award for Evidence.

After law school, Paul moved to Greenville, South Carolina where he began work at Foster & Foster handling an array of cases from auto accidents to complex automotive dealer buy/sell transactions. Paul then joined what is now Motley Rice, LLC where he eventually became a Member. There he began and chaired the firm’s Nursing Home Practice Group representing clients in multiple states receiving multimillion dollar verdicts and settlements across the country. He also co-chaired the firm’s Catastrophic Injury Group which was started to handle the firm’s most complex and high damage cases. Paul was similarly involved in Motley Rice’s medical malpractice group and the firm’s Asbestos Practice Group. He still holds the highest verdict ever received in a Minnesota asbestos trial.

Paul eventually resigned his partnership at Motley Rice and opened his own firm. Doolittle learned many of his courtroom skills from his friend and mentor Ron Motley. Before a judge and jury, Doolittle is serious, heartfelt and tenacious.  He is relentless in seeking justice for clients.

The Anastopoulo Law Firm has served clients for over 25 years, with offices located in Downtown Charleston, North Charleston, Columbia, Myrtle Beach, Florence, and Greenville, South Carolina, and Lumberton, Charlotte, North Carolina. For more information, please visit www.akimlawfirm.com.
