Redux Contemporary Art Center is excited to present Studio Union: An Art Junction, a group show featuring the work of a selection of artists who have studio space at Studio Union. Redux’s group exhibitions present the public with an opportunity to better understand, and engage with, a variety of artists’ work and how their work directly or indirectly correlates with one another.
Studio Union: An Art Junction highlights the eclectic community of artists practicing in the Studio Union space. This show intends to investigate the inherent, or discreet, connectivity between differing bodies of artistic expression by presenting the work created by artists whose studios coexist in a shared environment. The exhibition aims to provide the Studio Union artists with an opportunity to internally examine their creative practice as it relates to their peers and to present a cohesive body of work which defines their individual perspectives as artists.
Studio Union is a professional art space with a mission to have long-term, affordable rent for creatives in a dynamic and inspiring communal environment. The group of artists who work out of Studio Union are at various points in their artistic pursuits and include potters, sculptors, filmmakers, photographers, painters and more.
