Local pediatrician Dr. Annie Andrews of Mount Pleasant, who last month launched her bid for the United States Congress, announced that she will be hosting a virtual fundraiser with actor and doctor Ken Jeong. The event will be held on Wednesday, December 8th at 8 pm.
Jeong is probably best known for his work on The Hangover and The Masked Singer, but he was a doctor before his acting career began – and he’s still a licensed physician today.
Dr. Andrews is currently an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Medical University of South Carolina and has practiced medicine in Charleston for over a decade. She is running for South Carolina’s 1st Congressional seat against incumbent Congresswoman Nancy Mace.
