In an upcoming digital event on Thursday, September 23rd, scientists at Premier Medical Laboratory Services (PMLS) will talk through a variety of COVID-19 topics ranging from the delta variant to vaccines with a goal of providing information based on science. With misinformation about COVID-19 circulating, these scientists who conduct research at the largest lab in the southeast, PMLS, hope to inform the Carolinas on the best ways to fight the pandemic and answer common questions about COVID-19.

Dr. Brian Krueger is the Chief Scientific Officer of PMLS and is the former Director of Genomic Analysis and Technical Operations for Columbia University Medical Center. He developed the first commercially authorized SARS CoV-2 COVID-19 test. Dr. Stewart Holt is the PMLS Molecular Diagnostic Technical Supervisor with over 25 years of experience as a genetics and diagnostics scientist.
