Celebrate Charleston’s vibrant Latin and Caribbean cultures at the Latin American Festival on Sunday, October 10th at Wannamaker County Park. This year’s festival will be held from 12 pm to 5 pm. Non-stop music will include everything from the beats of merengue, to reggaeton, bachata, and salsa. Live bands will play throughout the day with DJ Luigi Bravo spinning the hottest hits between sets. The lively festival will also feature an educational area presented by the Charleston County Public Library.
This year’s live music lineup schedule:
- 12 – 12:30 pm: DJ Luigi
- 12:30 – 1:30 pm: UltimaNota
- 1:40 – 2:20 pm: DJ Luigi
- 2:30 – 3:30 pm: Orquesta Mayor
- 3:45 – 5 pm: Fulanito
After visitors work up an appetite on the dance floor, they’re invited to get a taste of cuisine from Mexico, Central and South America, and the Caribbean – from empanadas to arroz con pollo – along with traditional festival foods and beverages.
Event admission to the Latin American Festival is $10. College students and members of the military receive a discounted rate of $5 with a valid ID. Gold Pass holders and children ages 12 and under are free. No outside food, alcohol or coolers permitted. No pets allowed.
