Two women owned businesses, Hermosa Jewelry and Brown Fox Coffee are celebrating the Four Year Anniversary of their storefronts located in Mt. Pleasant. The special celebration will coincide with the return of their monthly Artisan Markets. This month’s event is titled Saturday on Simmons: September Artisan Market and will be held on September 11th from 9 am to 1 pm. The market will take place outside on the patio and parking lot in front of their storefronts located at 307 Simmons Street in Mount Pleasant.
The Saturday on Simmons: September Artisan Market will feature twelve local artisans and vendors, live music by Nick Collins, and food by Holey City Bagels and My Big Fat Greek Trailer. This event is an opportunity for local vendors to display their artwork within the Charleston community. Local artists and makers are encouraged to apply here. The Markets will continue through December on the second Saturday of each month.
Not only is it a market, but also a celebration of both businesses’ Four Year Anniversary of their brick and mortar locations. The event will begin promptly at 9 am. Brown Fox Coffee will be serving delicious drinks. Tents and tables will be set up at 307 Simmons Street in Mount Pleasant. Parking is offered in the front and back of the market. The market is free and open to the public. Families are more than welcome, including children and pets.
